St. Maarten

The next stop on your photo tour is St. Maarten. This island is very interesting as it is 1/2 Dutch and 1/2 French. Even though the tiny island is split in half, you can easily go from one side to the other (in fact you don't even realize when you have crossed over).

We spent the day at Orient Beach as we have been to this island before, too. This vacation was filled with sun and sand for us! I loved it-very relaxing! The only problem with this beach is that it was packed with umbrellas and lounge chairs as far as you could see. It didn't keep us from relaxing, though.

There were 4 ships in port the day we were there (part of the reason the beach was so busy). This is a pretty neat view of the ships as we were walking down the pier to get back to our ship. The ships are so big, but look even bigger from this perspective.Tomorrow will be our last port of call and then I'll get back to some creating for you.
