Rock the Block Magic Cubes

OK, remember yesterday's post when I said I had big plans for the Rock the Block set? Well...I DID IT!  And it actually turned out pretty close to what I was dreaming of...
This is just one of the things Corporate did with the blocks
And here is a close up picture of the stamp set that comes along with the blocks
Remember, this is a sneak peak product that will be coming out in the new Spring/Summer Idea Book beginning February 1st.  You can get it now (thru the end of January) for only $15 (yep, the blocks and the stamp set) by placing a $25 order with me.  Once the blocks come out in the new Idea Book, they will be $14.95 all by themselves, so it really is a great deal to get the stamp set absolutely FREE!

Alright already, I'll get to my fabulous project - I even made a video for you so it is easier to see it in action!

What did you think?  Go easy on me about the video, I'm not a professional videographer, you know :)  Sorry about the couple second delay about halfway through, I tried to get rid of it, but it just wasn't working.  A special thank you goes out to my niece Kinzie for actually video taping me!

I got my inspiration for this from Tresa Black, but since she didn't have instructions, I just did a Google search.  I can do a class to teach you how to make one for yourself if you are interested.  Otherwise, just Google magic folding cube and you will come up with all sorts of directions.  I just went with the first one I looked at and it really was pretty easy to make.  I do have a few tips now after putting one together, but I'll save them for the class...

Another Video Tutorial-A File Folder/Notebook Holder

Here is the video I was working on. I guess I have not learned enough yet about You Tube to get it put on there, too. Maybe next time. I am learning so much...don't push me :)

I am just pretty pleased that I was even able to actually get it to post on my blog!!

I guess this is just another reason for me to make yet another video-so that I can continue to practice what I am learning. Please feel free to leave a comment below (or email me) to let me know how I can make videos better for you or what you would like to see.

Now go check out Lynn's blog to see the originals that she taught us. You can easily use the cute patterned file folders so you don't even have to cut all that paper to the folder. Even easier!

My first video tutorial!

Alright, here is my very first ever attempt at a video. After a few questions on how to put together the Meandering Album, I thought it was a good time to actually 'try' to make a video. It will also serve as a tool for my application to teach at our CTMH Convention in July. This has always been a dream of mine, so...it's finally time to take action and at least give it a whirl :)

You just have to promise me not to laugh at my first attempt. I have tried many times and am just not a computer guru and don't know a lot about this sort of thing. It's a lot of trial and error on my part, but that's ok, I stepped outside of my box!

Here goes...

Let me know what you think - or if you have some helpful hints for me as far as editing my video!
