CTMH Convention ROCKED!

I am back from Dallas, Texas and our annual Close To My Heart Convention.  OMG, all I can say is WOW!  Every year I wonder how they are going to amaze me and every year they totally out-do themselves!!

There are just soooo many wonderful new things to share, I'm not even sure where to begin...

Pigment inks?  WE now have mini pigment ink pads that will be just perfect for decorating your home decor items.  Yes, you heard me correctly, I said Home Decor  Items!  This is right up my alley as I love, love, love to do these types of items.  Just wait till you see what I have to show you! 

We also have come out with some brand new alcohol ink based markers that are perfect for coloring in your stamped images.  I can hardly wait to get my hands on these and start playing :)

2 new art projects with a sneak peek!

Last Saturday we had our awesome team meeting *and if anyone is interested in signing up to be a consultant and joining my team, just let me know as I would love to have you*

Part of the fun of the day was that it was a theme party.  We were to be groovy and dress up like the 60's.  What a fun time that was.  Here I am in my 60's dress (a little short for my tastes, but it was fun!)  Too bad the go go boots didn't fit!  (So sorry for the poor quality picture-it was from my phone and it really isn't good, but you get the idea!)

Then in the afternoon we were creating.  I used the brand new Mistletoe papers for both of my projects.  It will be available to my customers beginning on September 1st.  If you need your new idea book, just let me know and I will get it to you!

We also learned how to make this adorable file folder album.  It was also pretty easy to do-thanks to the great instructions from Rachel.

Open it up and you have lots of 'pages' to flip up...room for lots of photos (plus you can customize it to fit your needs!)

I love creating, especially when in the company of such good friends!

Sneak Peak artwork from the new Summer Idea Book

Here is a card I made using the paper from the new Cherry-O collection in the new Summer Idea Book.  This book will go live to customers on May 1st.  Contact me if you would like a copy of it.

I think this paper pack just might be my favorite in the new book...of course, that always changes as I start creating with them all!  I stepped way outside of my box and created a round card using a pattern out of the Wishes How-to Book.  It really was so easy, I think I will have to make some more round cards!  It's hard to see in the photo, but the center circle is popped up.  I colored those cute little strawberries using our Exclusive Inks markers.  So easy!

Next I created a recipe card.  I used my recipe for Blu'Bana Bread.  Click on the picture to read the recipe more clearly.  Just wait until you see more of the products in the new book...you, too, will be creating recipes/cards/boxes!  That's all I will say for now...
